It’s fundamental for our generation to understand the forces that shape the cultural backgrounds of people around us. Traveling is undoubtedly the best way to gain that understanding.
Walking and exploring with your eyes and mind open without preconceived notions is an ideal way to understand a place's history and culture.
I quickly realized that people tire of hearing your stories. It's difficult to communicate what the experience abroad was truly like yet it was enriching in all aspects.
If you stay in a place long enough, there comes a point when the culture becomes part of you.
Take a pause and just look at the night sky..
Just a simple collection to showcase some of the most stunning photographs around the world to stoke your wanderlust
An interesting and different side of China that we are not used to seeing in media
A beautiful shot of the colosseum as the sun rises (or sets?). The only strange thing about the picture seems to be the dearth of tourists milling around, as is so often the case when in Rome
Purple...that's the first thing that jumps to mind, such a nice shot of the purple hue that sets it apart from the usual palette of landscape photographs - green (forests/mountains), blue (lakes/seas), white (snow), yellow/orange (sunrises/sunsets)
Visiting the northern lights (aurora borealis)...have to get this checked off my bucket list one day
Really like this photograph as it just seems so mystical, like a fantasy world in some far off realm where magic and dragons exist!
Beautiful reflection of the mountains creating an ethereal parallel world in the azure waters
Bookmarked as one of my top travel destinations :)
Dreamy landscape that lets you retreat, albeit for just a moment, into that oft-forgotten wonder and natural intoxication that you cannot find in the cities and streets of man
